  • IT IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL !!!! I am so pleased to be the owner of this beautifully constructed furniture. It is truly pleasing to look at, and I know I will have years and years of use from it. I can't wait to show everyone and spread the word about it. Thank you for placing your soul and heart into your work. I will always remember our correspondence and your perfectionism. Once I have it filled up with supplies and my tying vise I will send a photo.

  • Dale – I received the table last week and just wanted to let you know how great it is. You do a great job making these tables, and it is a perfect table to tie and store some materials. Thanks a lot!

  • "The Fly Tying Station showed up yesterday. Thank you! The tying station is awesome, more than I expected. You do have a special talent! I think you will be getting at least one, if not two of my friends wives buying these from you in the near future. Again, thank you for a great addition to my fly tying. This will be used for my lifetime and hopefully a few more after that."

Fly Tying Station Maple

The Maple station is built with solid maple hardwood. This wood comes from a local sawyer in western PA. Maple is the lightest wood choice I offer and has been very well received. The lighter color of the station lets you see the fly better when you are tying those size 28 midges.

Fly Tying Station Butternut

The Butternut station is a beautiful composition of butternut, often nicknamed White Walnut, and trimmed with Black Walnut drawer fronts and tool rack. This combination really looks great and is one of my favorite woods to work with. The butternut is a lighter weight wood, yet very durable. The color is a medium to light tone and the grain structure is more pronounced that that of maple or cherry, but less than oak. A beautiful combination.

Fly Tying Station Oak

The Oak stations are built with solid flat sawn red oak. The trees actually came from my property and were sawn by Dan O'Neil, a sawyer who just happens to reside on the same street as myself. The oak is a standard of quality when thinking of hand crafted furniture. The color is similar to that of butternut, but with a slight burgundy tone to it. The grain structure is very pronounced with oak.

Fly Tying Station Cherry

The Cherry station is a very striking piece. The subtle grain structure and beautiful red tone of the wood makes for a furniture grade piece. This station is one of my personal favorites. Each station is slightly different when finished due to the wood color and grain structure, and the Cherry makes a stunning station. This station is slightly darker than the maple but not as dark as the walnut.

Fly Tying Station Walnut

The Walnut station is built with solid Black Walnut. This is the darkest colored station that I make. It is the Yang to the Maples Yin. Absolutely beautiful, I use this as my personal station. The dark wood may not be the best choice if you have any concerns about the contrast of the fly and the wood. However, I have never had any issues, and I do use plenty of lighting when I am tying. This is a real attention getter, and looks like fine furniture right at home in any room in the house.
